2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza wants to become a Range Rover
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has consistently remained one of the most popular compact SUVs in the country. Even the second-generation Brezza is touching new heights of popularity, even though the competition has become much fiercer than ever before. While the Brezza has always been a popular choice for its practicality and economy, the SUV is also ‘infamous’ for its wacky customized forms chosen by some of its owners. Here’s a new Brezza which has been customized to make it look ‘inspired’ by the much pricier Range Rover Evoque.
In a YouTube video from Car Blogger, we can see a white-coloured Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza customized with add-ons and tweaks to make it look like a Range Rover Evoque. At the front, the sleek-looking grille of the Brezza has been replaced by a Range Rover-inspired grille with honeycomb inserts and an offset green-coloured Range Rover logo on its right.
While the bonnet here has been slapped with Range Rover lettering on the front, the body cladding at the bottom gets a white paint job over it. The headlamps also have been given a smoked black treatment.

The side profile of this customized Evoque-lookalike Brezza gets upsized aftermarket multi-spoke machined alloy wheels with bigger tyres. Also, the front brake calliper and rear drum have been painted neon green, which adds a perfect contrast to the white paint job of the Brezza. The other add-ons on the side profile of this Brezza here include door visors and front fender garnish.
At the back, gone are the Brezza lettering and Suzuki logo, and as replacements, this Brezza gets Range Rover lettering across the width of the boot lid and Land Rover and Evoque badges placed to the left of the license plate housing.
Many more similar modifications in the past
In the past, we have seen several Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza owners customizing their SUVs with wacky-looking add-ons, the most popular of which was the seven-slat grille seen on Jeep SUVs. While some people think that such customizations add road presence to the SUV, many think that such attempts are weird forms of seeking attention done by the “wanna-be” owners of the Brezza.
Many also believe that the sleek front profile and tail lamps and muscular stance of the new Brezza are very much inspired by the Range Rover Evoque. However, we do feel that such changes and add-ons ruin the originality of the vehicle and make them look like cheap inspirations better to be avoided.
Such visual modification jobs are not illegal in India. Only the structural changes and modifying the integral parts of the vehicle are considered illegal.
